10Bet to pay £620,000 in UK market

The money will be paid by the operator as part of a settlement with the Commission in the UK market and donated to charitable causes.

On 7 September 2021, a section 116 regulatory evaluation of Blue Star Planet was launched because of an investigation.

The regulatory review found shortcomings in Blue Star Planet's procedures that were intended to prevent money laundering (ML) and protect the vulnerable. These issues were discovered as a result of a compliance evaluation that Commission Officials carried out on June 22, 23, 24 and 25 in 2021.

Blue Star Planet violated several licence conditions and codes of conduct between November 2019 and June 2021.

Failures in Blue Star Planet Limited's application of anti-money laundering (AML) policies, procedures, and controls were found throughout the investigation and subsequent regulatory assessment. It also discovered problems in its execution of responsible gambling policies, rules,Online Casino Games controls and processes.

The Commission also reported that Blue Star Planet had violated licence terms, such as the implementation of anti-money laundering procedures, between November 2019 and June 2021.

The regulator then ordered Blue Star Planet Limited to pay £620,000 as a settlement in lieu of a fine, which will be used to support charitable organisations. The company is also ordered to pay £3,571.25 towards the investigation's costs incurred by the Commission.
